MIND. BODY. YOGA. LIFE.

Yoga

Yoga cultivates an inner state of centered awareness that cannot be disturbed by the turmoil of life.  It exists for everyone as a form of:

  • power to strengthen and open the body and mind
  • grounding to stay sane in what sometime feels like a chaotic and crazy world
  • therapy and stress-relief to settle the nerves and slow down the heart rate through deep, long breaths
  • healing when dealing with an injury or illness
  • control to build self awareness, confidence and increased focus
  • self-care as your body changes and/or ages

Mind

The mind alone can be the path to freedom or the cause for suffering regardless of how strong and fit you are. Focusing your mind on the present and gratitude helps to gain perspective, balance and harmony.  When you are mindful and aware you are present.

Breath

The most simple tool to become present is awareness of breath. Your breath is never in the future or the past. It is the here and now. Breath creates space.  Space allows you time to reflect rather than react.

Meditation

Meditation is the simplest and most powerful tool to settle your mind and your body. It is a journey from activity to silence. The key is to find the right path that works for you. As you practice your own individual form of meditation, you will inevitably find some sense of silence. This silence will unconsciously stay with you throughout your day, expanding your awareness and creating more peace and calm within.

Nourishment

Like yoga, nourishment comes in many forms: physical activity, meditation, mindfulness, and spirituality. And of course, you have the power to nourish your entire being with what you put into your body. Building awareness and a deeper understanding of the power of food will enable you to find optimal health and wellness.

Coaching

Mindful coaching is an open and reflective exploration. It strives to create an environment that dissolves the limitations of history, expectations and assumptions. It allows clients to thrive and create new possibilities for themselves. It encourages new perspectives, to seek and gain new knowledge.  Working with a health and wellness coach provides:

  • a confidential, non-judgmental space to be heard
  • someone fully present who seeks to understand you and actively listens to your beliefs, concerns and wellness goals
  • help to define those goals and develop strategies to enact real, sustainable, lifestyle changes for overall health and wellness
  • encouragement and support
  • information to help boost confidence for healthier decision making
  • tools like meditation, mindfulness and/or breathing techniques to calm and clear your mind
  • help to understand the power of food and how the various forms of nourishment impact your health, happiness, and total well-being
  • guidance to discover the food and lifestyle choices that best support you
